Preeti joined Malaspina in 2020 and currently serves as an Assistant Controller. In this role, she works closely with clients to provide finance and reporting services. This includes period-end reporting packages, preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&As. She also manages regulatory reporting, audit and review processes with external auditors, and liaises with external tax advisors. Additionally, she assists with the development and implementation of company templates and strategic plans, while handling client relationships and the underlying accounting processes for clients.
Preeti graduated from the Sauder School of Business at UBC in 2010 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Before joining Malaspina, she worked in property management for over six years, serving as a property accountant.
In her spare time, Preeti enjoys cooking, reading, and exploring new cities and restaurants.
