Kristina joined the Malaspina team as a controller in 2023. She assists clients with month-end closing process, preparation of financial statements and MD&A. Kristina has more than a decade of experience in accounting, including 8 years in management roles.
At Manning Elliott LLP Kristina was a senior manager and provided assurance services to public and private companies primarily in the mining, oil and gas, tech and life science industries. Kristina was a controller with LexaGene Holdings from 2021-2023. At LexaGene Kristina converted the company’s records from IFRS to US GAAP and gained experience preparing financial reporting packages under SEC rules.
Kristina obtained her CPA, CA designation in 2013. She graduated with a Degree in Economics (B.Econ) from Voronezh State University and a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in accounting from Thompson Rivers University.
She enjoys running, baking and travelling.
