Jax plays a pivotal role at the Malaspina Group, where he collaborates closely with our clients to deliver comprehensive financial and reporting services. His responsibilities encompass an array of financial activities, including the preparation of period-end reporting packages, consolidations, financial statement generation, and the development of Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) reports. Moreover, Jax efficiently oversees the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions for our esteemed clients.
Prior to joining Malaspina, Jax cultivated his expertise while working with a prominent consulting firm, where he specialized in serving both private and publicly traded entities, focusing on junior mining, renewable energy, capital pool clients, as well as NYSE-listed mining and royalties’ companies. Starting in 2019, he excelled as an accountant and later assumed the role of Accounts Payable Team Lead, amassing significant experience in providing accounting and administrative support for both Canadian and US-based companies, including those with international subsidiaries.
Jax’s academic achievements are equally impressive. He earned the distinction of a university scholar and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology from an ISO-certified state university in the Philippines. His excellence in the field was further underscored by achieving the top rank in the Registered Cost Accountant licensing exam (AU based).
Outside of his professional endeavors, Jax finds relaxation and enjoyment in mobile gaming and culinary pursuits.
