Ali’s background is rooted in the world of science, where he has established himself as a published author and co-author of over thirty peer-reviewed scientific articles in the field of diabetes. He was a member of the Vancouver Diabetes Research Group before transitioning to accounting. Ali returned to school and completed his CPA program, merging his critical thinking and problem-solving skills with newly acquired analytical expertise.
This unique blend of skills positions Ali to effectively assist his clients with their business needs. He discovered early on that he possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for helping other entrepreneurs succeed.
Before joining Malaspina in 2023, Ali worked as a manager at MNP and Deloitte, gaining valuable experience in providing accounting and advisory services to a diverse range of small to medium-sized businesses.
In his spare time, Ali enjoys cooking, watching movies, going on road trips, and playing friendly games of poker.
