Denitsa provides Controller and CFO services and is responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, MD&A and period-end reporting packages for both public and private companies, focusing on companies in the resource sector. She has over ten years of experience in accounting and business administration and is fluent in Bulgarian and conversational in Spanish.
Before joining Malaspina Consultants in 2019, Denitsa spent three years working at a local mid-size accounting firm where she specialized in providing assurance services to publicly listed companies from various industries. Before that, she spent six years at a local, private stainless-steel distributor company, where she assisted with the day-to-day accounting and office administration functions.
Denitsa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting with Distinction) and a Certificate in Spanish Language Proficiency from Simon Fraser University and received her CPA designation in 2019.
In her spare time, Denitsa enjoys baking treats, spending time outdoors, trying out different dance classes and travelling.
